Since 1967, Carl Cannon has been proud to call Walker County home. Through the good times and the bad we have depended on the community to support our business and that support has allowed us to grow into the oldest, largest and most trusted new car dealer in the market. We are truly thankful to the hardworking men and women of Central Alabama who honor us with their business each and every day.
That’s why we have a dedicated community involvement initiative called Cannon Cares. Each and every year our philanthropic efforts grow as we support the many churches, schools, community service organizations, athletic programs, arts programs and various other organizations that make Walker County so special. Just in the past 10 years, we have contributed more than $750,000 to local charities and look forward to crossing the million dollar threshold by 2030! That’s our Carl Cannon Cares Commitment to Community Involvement and it’s an absolute honor to be able to give back to those who have given so much to us!

Foothills Festival
Our dealership is excited to be the primary sponsor for the Foothills Festival in Jasper. This two-day annual event celebrates our Jasper community and culture through music, art, food and outdoor activities, bringing together locals and visitors alike.
413 Men's Conference
Our Chevrolet Birmingham area dealer is proud to present this year's 413 Men's Conference, a faith-based event that empowers and encourages men to become better leaders in their families, communities, and workplaces.
The Carl Cannon Chevrolet Coliseum
As the largest supporter of sports at Jasper High School, we’re elated to further contribute to our community by donating to the Carl Cannon Chevrolet Coliseum. This state-of-the-art basketball facility is the centerpiece of Jasper Athletics, providing students with a space to grow and have fun, while also promoting development within our wonderful community.
Viking Scramble
This year, our team was happy to sponsor the Hole in One prizes for the Viking Scramble. The charity golf tournament helps raise funds to support education and provide opportunities for students to reach their full potential.
Jasper Main Street LLC
Carl Cannon Chevrolet also works to revitalize Downtown Jasper through sponsoring different events. Our executive manager, Curt Ballard, has been selected twice as our town’s Main Street Hero thanks to his support to local events, including the Annual Hispanic Heritage Festival Downtown and the Carl Cannon Chevrolet Christmas event, where we provide decorations for Downtown during the holiday season.
Ruff Rescue
We sponsor Ruff Rescue and the Greater Birmingham Humane Society through our Dogs and Deals fundraiser, where at our most recent event, more than 14 animals were adopted and we helped raise over $3,000 for the Rescue and Humane Society.
Black Warrior Council of the Boy Scouts
To support our local Boy Scouts troops, we host the annual Black Warrior Council luncheon and Pine Wood Derby every year!
